I want to personally take a moment to thank Joe Rizzo and his partner in crime— the badass hockey player still going strong in his 50s (I’m truly terrible with names, my apologies!). In a moment of chaos and emotional exhaustion, I didn’t know who to call for help. I started making calls at random, and by pure luck, I found Joe. From the very first conversation, he was kind, understanding, and willing to shift things around in his schedule to help us clear out a family member’s belongings — items that couldn’t be donated and just needed to be handled.
